Highly Recommend-
I have been a patient of Dr Patricia “Trish” Meegan for over 10 years. Always professional, highly skilled in all areas of EDS and comorbids- She has provided highly respected assessments that my Doctors have heavily relied on for treatment plans. Her expertise and skillset is highly sought after and she is valued and a trusted professional throughout the EDS community. Highly recommend Dr Trish Meegan- she treats each patient as an individual and there exercise plan is set accordingly. Not one treatment plan is the same for all like other clinics. She takes the time to explain everything and my mobility has been greatly improved.

Best of the best!
I was incredibly disappointed to read the previous review that gave Trish one star. Nothing could be further from the truth! I have been a patient of Trish’s twice a week for the past 13 years as I have an ongoing issue called Ehlers Danlos syndrome. She has always gone above and beyond to help me and has never been anything but compassionate and caring toward me and every other client that I have seen her work with. She truly is the best of the best!!!

I Wouldn’t Be Here Without Trish
I have been a patient of Trish for many years now, And I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be here without her. Having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, you often have to travel for your care. My family makes the two hour drive there and back multiple times a week because there is just absolutely NOBODY like Trish. I have never met someone who cares so much about her patients and their success. She has also caught many things in me that, when checked out, ended up being extremely dangerous, some even leading to life saving surgery. My PT appointments are the highlight of my weeks and have changed my entire outlook on PT. We have been through a lot of ups and downs together with my health, but because of Trish, I have hope (and trust) that things will continue to up. You get what you put in; Trish puts in 110% and that inspires me to do the same.

Brilliant DPT, successful outcomes!
My experience working with Dr. Trish Meegan has been nothing but positive! She is an expert in her field and world-renowned in the treatment of connective tissue disorders and uncommon conditions that other physical therapists struggle to treat. Trish treats gently with kindness and grace. Her breadth of knowledge is unbelievable, and she customizes treatment for each individual patient- never cookie cutter. I can honestly say my life would not be the same without her. Since working with Trish, my pain has significantly decreased and my functional abilities have increased. I’ve met people who have travelled from all over the world just to have treatments with Trish, so if you are local, consider yourself blessed and do not hesitate to see her!

In Rhode Island, the two main places that people can obtain physical therapy for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome are Healy PT and Muldowney PT. We don't have a wealth of options, but if you can avoid Trish, I would recommend you do so. She treated me with callousness and even cruelty at times, not even lending a hand to help me off the treatment table when my face was screwed up with so much pain that I was swearing under my breath. She also said mean, judgemental things about me to a relative who was seeing her at the same time. She even gaslighted me, telling me that a severe issue I was dealing with had nothing to do with EDS, something that Dr. Pradeep Chopra (our local EDS MD expert) said was definitely a result of EDS. Go to Muldowney if you can. They have one office in Cranston and one in North Smithfield. Everyone I've seen there has been professional. If you can't go there, look for a PT who is willing to learn about EDS and the Muldowney Protocol. Just avoid Trish if you can.
