Abandoned Me as a Patient w No Warning
I was diagnosed with severe postpartum anxiety after the birth of my child and given a referral to speak with Dr. Morgan. It was a 6 week wait and I clung to that appointment, I was so scared and desperate for help. We met for my first session and made a great plan that started to calm my nerves. Two days prior to our second session, I received a cryptic call from her receptionist saying she was gone. I asked, "gone, like out sick?" and she didn't have an answer for me. My appointment had been canceled. I asked when she'd be back and she again didn't have an answer. I started crying and saying I truly need help, will she please call me as soon as possible or can I be referred to someone else? The lady said yes of course and I never heard from them again. My two voicemails went unreturned. I called back with a fake name and they could see me in a few weeks. Beware of this sketchy doctor. I felt abandoned when I truly was in a dark place and needed help.
