I would not recommend Jo Velasquez to anyone, especially a child. Making money is more important to her than the mental health of her patients.
My child was not given a refill on her medications, instead I was told to admit her to Mesilla Valley or Jo was going to call CPS. There was nothing my child said or did that would warrant this decision from Jo. She couldn't even call me herself to explain exactly why she made that decision, instead she had her medical assistant call and she had zero answers. I called to get answers and my request fell on deaf ears. She is extremely unproffessional.
