Dr. Paul Montague, OD

Dr. Montague is an excellent Eye Doctor. He has always been so kind and attentive to my eyecare needs. What I like most about Dr. M is that he spends a great deal of time explaining his findings.

Never wish to attend an exam with this “physician” again, he is incompetent and lazy. My husband has severe myopia (he previously had surgery to reattach one of his retinas with another Dr). My husband went into an exam, Montague went over 3 slides (asked no clarifying questions), and proceeded to prescribe contacts and glasses scripts. We got glasses made immediately and realized after the fact that the script was backwards (the worst script was in the wrong eye). We did not walk out with a “finalized” RGP script and were told we would receive a callback the next business day. However, after a week of calling his office with no callbacks, we went inside to find out that the RGP’s he was supposed to order weren’t ordered or even in the que to be ordered. It was an extremely rushed appointment that led to an incorrect prescription, the loss of over $500 on our part, and absolutely no professional courtesy or communication whatsoever.
