Paula Warner, MSN

I absolutely love Paula! She has been my psychiatrist for well over 5 years now! She listens well and is kind. She can be quite funny sometimes too so I usually leave the office with a smile on my face!

My sister is a patient of Paula Warner. She was doing exceptionally well on 10mg of Zyprexa for many years. Then this NP took it upon herself, without consulting her guardian or family, to cut her to 5mg HALF her dosage, who does that? As a result my sister who is 65 yrs old ended up in the hospital and this NP was unavailable the entire time. Since then my sister has turned on her ENTIRE family. After the damage had been done she admitted she should never have moved her to 5mg and it likely led to her hospitalization, really?!! This is much like a death to me, we have lost my sister for what appears to be for good, it’s been almost 8 months. I’m told a psychiatrist over her should have signed off on the med change, but I’m not sure that happened. PLEASE BEWARE…..

Paula is a great caregiver. Shes a no BS kind of lady which I like. Im Bipolar and have PTSD. Never has she degraded me or made me feel less like myself. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Rude, Judgmental, talks at you and not to you, it's her way or the highway, unprofessional, thinks she is God and knows everything, if you are under 30 she treats you like a stupid child and doesn't care about your input when making a care plan. I have begged her to change my meds and she refused and when asked why she said because she didn't want to, no regards for how you actually feel, instead of being able, to be honest with her about how you feel you must lie or she will threaten to have you locked away in a psych ward. She made me go to her for a year to "monitor me" before being willing to even discuss changing my medication which clearly was not working, but now that it has been a year she is transferring me off her service to someone else for me to just get lost in the system with no help or hope. Not open to discussing new medication or research going on; she rather stay in the prehistoric dinosaur ages. If you want to die then go see her for assisted suicide!

Stay away unless you want to be judged for your illness. I have extreme anxiety, agoraphobia, and depression. From the moment I sat down, she began to berate me, asking questions like "Don't you want to be better?" without asking anything about my life or what I was doing to combat my illness. I cried through the entire appointment, too ashamed to voice any of my questions or concerns. I was assigned to Ms. Warner after my doctor moved to another state. I will not be seeing her again.
