Satisfied
I saw Dr. Monroe a few years ago for PTSD. He was helpful and listened to what I had to say. He wrote and documented a detailed summary of my condition for my VA pic doctor. Unfortunately his office is over an hour drive for me so I discounted meeting due to milage.

I wouldn’t go see this person again. He is polite on meeting, and that’s the best I can say for my experience. He believes ADD& ADHD are bogus diagnoses for starters. He said they really are just anxiety, which goes against accepted scientific data and accepted medical practice. Aside from that, it’s a bit ironic since he himself was incapable of focusing. Throughout the session he kept messing with his computer, avoiding eye contact, and checking his cell phone. That’s egregiously unprofessional. He also has difficulty listening to his patients rather than just hearing them. His belief amounted to: ADHD/ADD is really anxiety, anxiety is usually a matter of finding the answer to a fundamental question, the fundamental question is typically “why am I here/what is my purpose “, and if a person finds the answer to their question then they have peace. All of this was completely off track since I didn’t go there for my ADHD/ADD at all. I left 15 minutes early after letting him know we

Very caring and understanding. While Dr. Monrow is well-versed in many therapeutic mediums, his gift really seems to be helping patients or steering patients a bit in finding their own answers. I have tried to find answers before unsuccessfully. He builds strong rapport and has helped frame things in a way where I can trust and believe my innate instincts and knowledge. It doesn't happen overnight and you probably need more than a session or two. It's hard work to change, folks. If you can go all in, Dr. Monrow can most likely help you

This guy is worse than useless. He talks about non-relevant topics for most of the sessions. When there is a 1-4 minutes left in the session, he will finally ask, so what's happening? The objective is to get people to keep coming back so he can pad his billing. Additionally, he will have clients fill out a long form...for the primary purpose of doubling his bill with the claim that he reviewed it. This man should not be in practice. Save your time and money and skip this guy. His actual rating is a minus 10, but the lowest this system goes is "1." He cares nothing about his patients, only how he can screw off during sessions, while boosting his billing. Disgraceful...........

Horrible Horrible Horrible! Very unprofessional and lack of knowledge. Was not paying attention to what I was saying and was unable to provide any constructive feedback as if he wasn’t listening. Instead of asking me to repeat myself he changed the subject and never addressed my problem. 0 stars for this quack!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've never been so insulted by a "psychologist" in my life, and I've seen pyschs since middle school. He pretty much talked 98% of the time about his own successes, he responded to personal texts constantly, he put down and seemed confused by AA, and to top it off he straight up told me that to get rid of my anxiety I simply need to read the Bible and believe in God. He should not be allowed to give advice to desperate people seeking help.

Dr. Monrow was incredibly unprofessional from start to finish. Starting my appointment 15 minutes late, letting his phone go off over and over throughout my time in his office, taking several breaks to look at it and respond. He was condescending in the way he spoke to me, rambled on about his own personal success as if it somehow was an example I should follow, and explicitly stated that “ADD was a crock”. I would never recommend that someone go to him for anything. I’ve never been so insulted

Very very rude. Told me my child just needed harder discipline, he gets away with too much then lectured him about his behavior, about had my son in tears when we got up and asked out of the office. Would not recommend him to anyone even for their dog.
