Great Bedside Manner... But
A nice guy who seems to care about your needs and concerns. But being a caring person doesn't always mean you're going to get the care you need. He referred my wife to an infusion center for treatment but failed to go over any possible side effects of the medication. If he had, she would not have gone through with the procedure. She's been suffering several side effects and when she called his office to ask for help, she was told to see her primary care provider. Very disappointing since she went to him for treatment and we're feeling like it was a one and done.

One of the best physicians I’ve had
Dr. Wilcox is a wonderful physician. After months of trying to get answers for unexplained health concerns, he is the first person to not only treat these concerns as real, but to also validate the previous experiences that haven’t been good. He made me feel heard in so many ways. He understands that age doesn’t determine if someone is struggling with something, and recognized invisible illnesses. He trusts a patient can provide useful ideas and information, and he’s very thorough with explaining various processes and exploring hypotheticals. He educates in a way that isn’t condescending, and comes from a genuine desire to share. He does all of this while explaining in terms the patient understands, and he looks beyond things like mental health to see what the actual problem is, instead of dismissing it as anxiety, like some. I genuinely believe that more physicians should aspire to be like him, and that healthcare would be better for it. I cannot stress enough how wonderful he is.

Creme de'la Creme of Medical Pro's
Peter Wilcox is one of the best medical professionals I've ever had the pleasure of seeing (am in my 60's, so have seen my share). Very knowledgeable and knows what's needed to get the job done in the most efficient and best way possible. He also gives you his honest opinion. I DIDN'T feel like part of the herd of cattle or with a dollar sign on my forehead like in many offices, and didn't feel rushed. He also honestly seems to care and appears to enjoy educating people on what they want and need to know. A definite breath of fresh air in the medical industry.

Dr Wilcox was my sole inspiration to get healthy and turn my health around. At the onset I was 200+ lbs on a 5'6" frame with metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes managed as type 1 taking 70iu insulin twice daily in addition to 1000mg metformin twice daily. I'm currently 150lbs, and managing my type 2 diabetes with only 1000mg metformin twice daily. I eat what ever I want when ever I want. It is wonderful to be living a normal life not revolved around my diabetes. I don't eat 6 small meals a day. I eat when I want to, not because I have to. Thxs Dr Wilcox you are my blessing.
