Very quick to diagnose, seems to be disengaged
I met with Phil a few times, and while he was quick to attempt a diagnosis, I felt that he wasn't fully engaged. During our sessions, he repeatedly asked questions that made it seem like he hadn’t retained information from our previous conversations. This gave me the impression that he was merely going through the motions.

When telling others about being in therapy with Dr. Alexander, I have used the analogy that he is like an accountant for my brain. I go in there with this jumbled mess and he helps me figure out how to organize everything so that I can become more profitable. I have learned to deal with parts of myself and my of life that were bringing me down and every week I am happier and more hopeful that I am becoming the best version of myself.

Visited twice and he wasn't addressing my issues. Was very disappointed in both experiences as no help occurred. So I fired him. Am now seeing a different counselor and had immediate results in healing.
