I've been going to Epiphany Dermatology for roughly two years. Pooneh Newton immediately had a fix for my adult (60+) acne, the practice is close to home, and I only go in twice a year. Pooneh is nice, easy to talk with and knows her stuff. On the down side: communications were problematic from the start, and by that I suspect the support staff. Phone messages are often not returned, and getting prescription refills is a hassle. Earlier this year, I was disconnected while waiting for a televisit connection. Although I immediately called back, there was no return call. Fail. A second visit was successful and I had lab work done the following day in order to refill the Rx. It took six phone calls to finally get the refill. Meanwhile, I have been without the Rx for a month and my skin is not happy. I likely will not return, it is too frustrating. Epiphany sees a LOT of patients, better training for support staff (more staff?) needed.

This was supposed to be a cancer screening as I am barely one year cancer free and want to make sure I don't have it anywhere else. The doc came in and barely looked at the places I know to be concerned about. She shrugged off the areas of concern and did not offer help for the things on my face that I feel are changing the way I look in a negative way. She was barely in the room 5 minutes. 2 months later I get a bill and, when I call to ask why as this was supposed to be a cancer screening, I get told that dermatologists "do not do that." They don't bill as wellness nor cancer screenings as they are Professionals.

Pooneh Newton has been my dermatology provider for several years. She is first rate in every respect -- upbeat and friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Strongly recommended!
