Missed Obvious Strep
I went to Piedmont Urgent Care for intense pain in my lymph nodes, ear, and throat. My rapid test for strep came back negative and this PA gave me a steroid shot and sent me home with Flonase for post nasal drip. 4 days later my spouse is at the ER and they said it never should have gotten so far, we have classic symptoms of strep. That whatever doctor saw that negative test result should have laughed when taking a look at us and given us antibiotics anyway. 4 days of Hell because of that. If you go to Piedmont and get her, run the other way.
