I am extremely disappointed in the outpatient care of this institution. The first error was sending an order in for a CT scan 8 weeks before it was scheduled to be done. My 93 year old father had a stroke and was told to follow up with a CT 3 months later. Instead the nurse practitioner forwarded the order and he was scheduled 8 weeks early. Thankfully, I was made aware and found out the error. Of course there was no apology, etc. At his follow up with Mrs. Baarstad, no questions were asked if he had adequate refills on his blood thinners (quite an important therapy after a stroke). So when he realized he needed a refill, the pharmacy contacted the clinic via fax. No refill was done because apparently this clinic doesn’t respond to fax requests. No surprise, did not inform my Dad. So a phone call request was given early Friday and now on Monday, still waiting on a refill request. What a messed up situation. Wasting time and is potentially life threatening.

My visit was a phone call from the provider. She was very friendly and helpful.

I had never been to that Doctor. I went in the ER as an emergency and they came to see me.
