Rachel Piacsek, APRN

I generally give 5 star ratings for individuals with competency in their field and great tableside/ bedside manner. I also give 5 star ratings for many other items outside of medical. Unfortunately, after a few visits with Dr. Piacsek, I cannot provide a review of anything more than 3 stars. The why: Notes from visit(s) - Doctor had a very cold and arrogant demeanor. I remained kind and freindly. When I mentioned a full blood panel she remarked, without any indication from me or from my records of the diet I am on, that individuals that eat the western diet don't typically have vitamin deficiencies. I was roughly 10lbs overweight. For reference, the western diet is a diet used in labs to simulate eating fast food or very high fat food every day. - Dr. Piacsek is very knowledgable strictly in her field. She does tend to push toward "there's a pill for that" as a recommendation for everything. - Again very knowledgable, no complaints on her intellect in her field of study. However, her very first comment upon entering the room, as I had just pulled my mask back up on my face from having it down momentarily waiting in the empty room without prompting, was "Put your mask on you're in a clinic." To note: Dr. Piacsek may have a social disability that I am not aware of. Her Tableside/Bedside manner may not be something she is aware of. Overall, in my opinion, in regards to Dr. Piacsek's intellect and demeanor, she would excell in a research field without patient contact.
