If you want respectful evidence based care, do not go to her. Every time I went in, I was harassed and threatened with the supposedly imminent death of myself and my baby for demonstrably white coat hypertension and 'post dates' (although both evidence and ACOG say that active and expectant management are equally good). Also, I asked her directly what the risks of an induction were, her answer was "The risk is you have a baby" Might as well schedule an c-section directly with an OB!

Rachel is very professional and knowledgeable. She takes the time to hear your concerns and answer any questions you may have. I felt comfortable with the care of my two pregnancies in her hands. The only down side is her office staff and wait time. However; in my opinion she is DEFIANTLY worth the wait and hassle of appointment scheduling. I recommend her to anyone!

I echo what another responder has said; wait time is horrendous. I have always been on time or early for my appointments, yet have always waited a half hour to an hour before finally being seen. I also dread calling the office; I once was on hold for twenty minutes before giving up. Choosing a midwife for your care normally means being supported despite having unconventional opinions. However, Rachel is very medical and showed blatant lack of support for my choices. Might as well see an OB.

Waited an hour in the waiting room, then an additional hour. Did not call me back with blood results. Front office staff rude over the phone, and would often hang up on me when placed on hold. Extremely difficult to get a hold of for questions and results. I asked to reschedule a lab after the blood work was performed at the incorrect time of my cycle, but I never heard back. Major lack of communication once you are out of her office, which is bad if you have any issue outside of her office.
