Rafael Rojas, ARNP

Hands down one of the worst medical providers I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. As others have said, this man claims to be a doctor but is solely a nurse practitioner. He should be in a hospital changing bedsheets, not seeing mental health patients. He is rude and condescending. I got transferred to this nurse after treating with real doctors for years. He immediately wanted to change my medicine that I had already explained was and had been working. But of course, his his little mind, the nurse knows better than actual MD's. Run and find another provider. Also, its interesting that many of his few positive reviews all came on the same day. Odd....

I have suffered for many years from many issues and I have seen many providers in the past. However, I found Mr. Rafael and he has been able to ask questions and shows interest in trying to help. I recommend him 100 %.

I have been a patient of Rafael Rojas NP since I started suffering from depression. He was recommended and since then I always go see him. He offers his time and communicates very well with me, so I feel appreciated and that someone really cares. So far I have follow his direction and I can say that I feel better and have found a way to feel better thanks to him.

My first impression of Dr. Rojas is that he cares about his patients. He took the time to listen to my concerns and discussed several treatment options. I was completely satisfied with the outcome of my visit and I am looking forward to continue having him taking care of my health.

I was transferred to Nurse Rojas after my regular doctor left for maternity leave. He was condescending from the moment our first appointment started. Under his care my anxiety increased tenfold. He immediately changed the medicine I had been on or years and was more than happy with. Anytime I attempted to speak he rudely cut me off. Given the way he treats his patients, he should not be treating anyone in a mental health setting. After our second visit i immediately found another provider. Also, while he is a nurse practitioner, he refers to himself as “Dr. Rojas” during telehealth appointments. Rather misleading as he’s not licensed as an MD or DO in Florida.

From the moment video started, I knew 'Dr.' Rojas was someone who exerts any control they can over a patient. I don't believe he listened to a word I said, interrupted several times, and told me 'I will tell you what you need' when I told him why I scheduled this visit. Sir, you have a AMPR degree for 2 years and are advising someone who's taken the same medicine for 20+. Incredible what this industry has become.
