Dr. Ralph Benedict, PHD

I would avoid this man like the plague. His assistant Molly was very rude to me on the phone and even hung up on me. I am also going to channel 4 about this because I may have Alzheimer's and because of Molly's ignorant actions I will no longer be able to go to this provider. What happened was, she was not getting the fax from my other neurologist. When I double checked, it was actually because she just wasn't checking and was using the excuse she had a busy line that she didn't have to check it everyday. So long story short, I started closing in on why she did not get the fax papers and she hung up on me. So I left her a message saying I recorded her (remind you New York state is a one-party consent and it was to protect myself from ignorance like this) my message said I recorded what she told me and I'm going to show her supervisor Bobby and the person that gives her a paycheck. I don't mean to be rude but this man is a straight up fcking idiot, I would advise anyone reading this to stay away from him...as far as possible

I can see why some people might not understand Dr. Benedict or may interpret his demeanor as falling short of a congenial bedside manner, but he is an intelligent and exceptionally accomplished and competent professional who is deeply insightful and kind behind his seemingly gruff exterior. I found interactions with him educational and enjoyable.

I Cannot say enough good things about this man. He has helped my family deal with many difficult times due to my husband's traumatic brain injury.

Arrogant and rude with a blatant regard for your feelings. The absolute worst doctor in all my years of going to the doctor. This man should rethink his line of work.

Extremely rude and inconsiderate man who would not listen to anything I had to say and incorrectly diagnosed with a condition I do not have.
