No respect, poor bedside manner
My appointment was 2:30. I was not seen until 3:30. When I mentioned my appointment time to the PA who I thought was a dermatologist when I booked my appointment she was dismissive of my feedback citing she had to complete a surgery for another patient as if to suggest me, my reason for being seen, and my time did not mean anything. The appointment was very fast; it felt rushed. I had a question about something going on with and she did not take the time needed to review my concerns with me. She simply said that it was normal without actually looking at the area in question or verifying my symptoms, experience, or skin condition and possible remedies assuming the condition is recurring. I provided answers about my history using the checkin questionnaire and she did not review prior to meeting with me. I know this because she asked me if anyone in my family has a history of…and that information was already provided by me. I am not impressed and this is why I never want to work with a PA
