Worst experience and care that my spouse has received since moving to NC. My husbands first post hospital visit appt was obviously an indication on how his care was going to be, when he had appt, signed in, and they forgot about him for 1 hr until he went up to the desk to find out why were all the other patients going before him and he was the last one in the waiting room. He was told that the had forgotten about him and apologized. Once we were in the room with Rebecca Johnston PA, she was a bit high strong and scattered, and had not read any of my spouses reports from previous records that were faxed over, not to mention the Gastro group had seen my spouse in the hospital at FirstHealth Moore regional hospital for severe Crohn's flare-up a few weeks prior to his post hospital appt. She had asked the reason why he was there, really! We thought that was a strange question to ask and we were a little put off. Once she had seen my spouse, she had a plan and possible medication

I have never had more compassionate treatment and high level of care as Rebecca Johnston gave me. She not only explained things clearly but offered online and other resources that were reliable to utilize for educating me on my conditions. Her staff were always friendly and professional. I never had any problems with scheduling an appointment nor any issues with wait times. I consider it a blessing to be a patient with such wonderful care. I am most thankful and grateful for Rebecca Johnston's knowledge, skills, training, wisdom, and her loving heart.

This provider seems knowledgable on Gastrointestinal disorders. I wanted to trust her as a new patient, She did listen to some of my concerns. She put me on one medication that helped somewhat. But, she was completely in-compassionate to my pain level during a Crohn's flare. It being one of the most painful diseases when tearing and bleeding is occurring, yet all she was willing to give was an Anti-depressant? Completely insensitive and uncaring to patients discomfort. Crohn's patients beware.
