She canceled my appointments 3 separate times over a 3 month period. Even tried online. Tried to see her for annual checkup a year ago, kept canceling so I gave up. A year later same thing. I asked for a new provider this time and we'll see how it goes.

The very worse healthcare provider living today
I was saddled with Ms. Rakestraw for a number of years. Early in our patient/caregiver relationship, she seemed reasonably competent, but that changed dramatically over the years and she evolved into the worse healthcare provider that I have ever encountered. If you required ANYTHING other than a refill of your prescriptions and a brief physical examination on a "once a year" basis, she was an absolute master at deflecting and discouraging anything more than that. I have two dogs, and I would never allow Ms. Rakestraw to act as their caregiver. I think more of my dogs than to subject them to that.

Doctor Rakestraw, is by far, the best Primary Care Doctor I could ask for. She’s very thorough and very helpful. She’s been a blessing.
