"Dr. Rene" has been a total and complete lifesaver for our family. She has helped us tremendously with our son's ADHD and associated behavioral issues. I highly recommend going to her if you are open to following her advice and guidance. She has a straight forward and no-nonsense approach, which is probably what has led to some of the negative reviews. She is not for everyone, but we were desperate for practical and helpful advice. We listened and she has delivered. Our son is now thriving and looks forward to his check-ins with her.

Dr. Silleroy thinks quite highly of herself & can allow her ego to lead her practice, decisions, & opinions. She has a pattern of drawing conclusions without sufficient evidence, & she can be highly condescending in general & punitive toward those that disagree with her. Dr. Silleroy seems to believe her opinions & conclusions are more accurate & reliable than that of parents or other professionals, & she has been known to berate & scold parents with whom she disagrees. Further, Dr. Silleroy sometimes behaves as if laws & ethics codes do not apply to her. I highly recommend you find a more compassionate & curious therapist for your child, as well as one who nurtures the parent-child relationship rather than harms it.

Dr. Silleroy summarily dismisses my concerns during our 5-10 minute sessions prior to treating my child; routinely interrupts me as I am trying to explain my concerns; routinely gaslights me (re-frames my concerns to contradict what I'm saying stating she does not see any indication of my concerns while treating my child one hour per week and implies I'm making it up); and my child reported she has also gaslit my child and forced my child to question what my child reports. This is one of THE WORST child therapists I've encountered.

This woman ignores reputable scientific research in the pursuit of a pharmacological agenda in which her first and last option is to medicate the children of parents that are uninformed in things like the effects on brains on psychostimulants,

Dr. Silleroy was a life-saver for our family in dealing with my 6-year old daughter's ADHD. She gave structured, practical advice and texhniques that we were able to apply. This is not play-therapy, it’s genuine behavioral therapy with a lot of parental involvement.
