Renie Rondon-Jackson, LCSW

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with Ms Rondon-Jackson. Due to my personal experience with her as a couples counselor I question ever going for counseling ever again. In my experience, she was very biased towards my girlfriend constantly and convinced me that most of the things I did were wrong. She gave me advice and when I followed it, things got worse. She still never held my girlfriend accountable for her attitude or lack of following her advice. Even though I followed her instructions she accused me of not trying hard enough. The craziest part is that when I stopped going to her and chose my own path, things got much better. I don’t write this to be spiteful but I have to speak my truth. A counselor’s words are seen as gospel to a couple who don’t have the answers and if you’re giving bad advice, it’s like driving with a GPS of the wrong city. I might have gotten farther without your help. With all due respect, of course!

Dr. Jackson is an excellent and caring counselor. She is very understanding/ empathetic and easy to talk to. Our sessions have forced me to confront myself (both past and present) and deal with issues I did not think I had the strength or fortitude to address and resolve.
