Very straightforward and cares alot!
Rita is one of the best out there. She is always very serious because she takes her job very seriously. When I had health complications during my pregnancy she was very straightforward and professional but still followed my birth plan even though she already knew it wasn't going to work. After exhausting all methods of induction I finally gave in and had a c-section, she made me feel better about it as I took it pretty hard. She was also very supportive when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of this year. She's got a tough attitude but will be tough to fight for what's best for you also. Definitely recommend.

Disappointing, I thought going to Rita as a Midwife would allow me to have an unmedicated, minimal intervention birth, however she jumped to a C-Section as soon as she found out my son was breech and did not handle the situation well at all. I was in shock, I couldn't understand what was happening and there were no immediate health concerns that would warrant a C-Section. My doula tried to speak up for me but Rita shut her down right away. It was a very traumatic birth experience for me.

Rita is amazing! The best health care provider I've EVER met! She is kind, caring, direct, and to the point. She personally takes the time to call you back or squeeze you in if it's important! No matter how busy she is. She even gave me her direct number. She is phenomenal and I can't reccomend her enough!!!

This was my second time going to Rita, first time was okay but the second time was so awful that I cried off and on the rest of that day. She had an 'apprentice' or intern (if you can even call her that)do my exam. I stated that I was concerned about endometriosis or PCOS and that my mom had been worried about me too since she had these problems as well. She gave me a disgusted look and asked "soooo is your mom a doctor?" really? I said that I had been gaining a lot of weight and that my mom sug

Rita was absolutely wonderful. I went to her with both pregnancies, and I had a really positive experience. The first delivery was a cesarean, and the second an attempted VBAC which was well supported - and when Kaweah Delta was difficult, she went to bat for me and then ultimately helped me to transfer to her former colleague Shannon Johnson to give me my best chance for success with the VBAC. I highly recommend her.

Unfortunately I had an extremely bad experience. From monthly visits to labor. I felt like my whole pregnancy was rushed, as if Rita felt it was repetitive, unimportant, the list goes on. Sadly, this was my last child.
