This doctor, Robert Bednar Jr, is by far the worst doctor I have ever experienced. He's a jerk - flat out. He spoke with me for two minutes after hours of waiting in the ER only to yell at me and asked "what drugs I came into the hospital today for...", inferring that I was some type of druggie. Totally disrespectful and didn't allow me to ask a single question. He just walked out and the nurse came in and said "I was good to go." He didn't even have the strength to tell this to me. He sent the nurse in to do it... If you get him at one of the multiple hospitals he practices at, I would strongly suggest asking for another physician or PA. I'm shocked he's employed at Novant, but he does practice at three facilities so I'm assuming that's because none of them want him full time. I'm not sure how someone so horrible with patients can practice medicine. Hopefully this guy loses his job soon!
