Difficult to deal with
Dr. Nachtman was not a fit for my teenage son. He seemed to create more division than helping my son. My son developed increased anxiety and depression while going to Dr. Nachtman. I think Dr. Nachtman cared a lot but was not equipped with the right therapeutic tools.

Concerned Mother - not a therapist for kids
Telehealth
I brought my 13 year old daughter to Dr. Nachtman for therapy due to anxiety-related incidents for 8 months. Dr. Nachtman was combative with me and highly inappropriate with my daughter to the point that I felt uncomfortable leaving them alone together and immediately stopped therapy. My daughter is now seeing a new therapist and she is thriving and making progress. She admitted to me that she felt bullied by Dr. Nachtman and felt he was pressuring her and 'making her say and do things' that she didn't want to do. Dr. Nachtman may be better for adults but I would not recommend him for young girls.
