My daughter faced some major issues after going off to college. Her anxiety was through the roof, and her grades were in the basement! She was so sad, sleeping all the time and just wasnt herself. By Christmas break the family realized she was not able to return, unless she got some serious psychiatric care. Dr. Thompson was able to quickly get her depression and anxiety treated. He insisted we should also see Rose Peterson, NPP. She suspected ADD that was never diagnosed. We were unsure about it. But after only a few days on the meds she suggested, my daughter had improved focus on her school work. It took a while to adjust, (It also takes a while to schedule appointments there). But she is going back for the fall college session. We never thought that was going to be possible. My family will never forget all you did for us! God bless all you guys!

When a family member struggled with opiate addiction requiring Suboxone, as well as an underlying anxiety disorder, we were unable to locate any Doctors who were willing to treat both. The Treatment Team at Clinical Care Solutions Psychiatry, not only recognized the role of the depression and anxiety in substance abuse behaviors, they succesfully treated both! This organization is light years ahead of traditional treatment clinics and truly treats each individual with remarkable expertise, and compassionate evidence based care.

I saw Robert Thompson a colleague of Rose Peterson at the Smithtown Psychiatry, Clinical Care Solutions office. I was extremely nervous and have a long lasting depression that at least 6 different meds over the years just didn't help. I called on a Tuesday to ask how long the wait would be. I spoke to Liz, a very pleasant and professional office worker. She gave me an appointment first thing the very next morning! Dr. Thompson suggested a combination of two medications that were new. He sent me for labs, (they are so thorough!) and I returned to have my meds adjusted about ten days later. Its been 5 weeks and I feel great! My family say they have never seen me so uplifted....Thanks to all the kind people, at this wonderful little friendly clinic. I highly recommend it!
