Roberta Herbst, PA-C

For some context I’m transgender. When I went in to see Roberta cause my other doctor was not there currently it was fine at first then she asked to many questions that were unnecessary while I was asking for a referral to another place. She pushed me while also saying “you don’t have to tell me anything” then she constantly misgendered me and had my mother come in to “confirm” the referral when I have never needed that before (yes I am a minor) and when my mom came in Roberta herbst consistently misgendered me after multiple times being corrected. I ended up standing up and leaving and she had asked “why” and my mom said “you cant even respect his pronouns” and she proceeded to say we cannot respect her. Don’t know where that came from but she felt the need to say it.

Saw Roberta yesterday for the first time. It was an urgent care consult. She was caring and warm, her exam was thorough, and she quickly was able to lay out acceptable options for treatment. Both my husband and I were very impressed by her.
