Dr. Roger Young, OD

Dr. Young took the time to examine my eyes and offer solutions. He discussed everything he was doing and detailed his recommendations and the reasons. He was incredibly enthusiastic and seemed to love his work. His staff were very kind and easy to work with.

After seeing Dr. Young for over a decade, I will be finding a new doctor. Dr. Young gave me DAILY trial lenses but when I ordered, his staff ordered monthly contacts using a script from 3 years ago. Now they are requiring me to come in for an additional appointment (probably with an additional cost) to fix THEIR mistake. The staff was horribly rude and wouldn't let me speak to the doctor or office manager to get the situation corrected. It would be an easy fix since I have the correct trial lenses and the correct printed prescription but they are refusing and saying I have to come in at their next appointment in 2 weeks. When I contacted my insurance (since they paid the initial bill), they said they have had multiple complaints for the same thing. Their office has really gone downhill over the last two years. I would recommend finding another provider.

Dr. Young is very thorough and takes the time to make sure he does it right. He's really good with kids. We've had several pink eye issues and he's been willing to call in eye drop prescriptions for them. Always lets us know if ordering contacts through his office is a good deal or not. A lot of times there is a rebate offered that puts the price lower than if ordered other places. Definitely a keeper.
