Please stay away from this doctor. He made my condition worse than it was before I came in to the office insults were horrible from a psychiatrist or a practitioner. Please stay away.

Please read and take this into sincere consideration as I would feel horrible for anyone to have to go through what I went through seeing this psychiatric NP. I asked the doctor a question about a particular medication; he pulled up his personal phone and researched the medication to make me read the side effects. The doctor completely made me question myself and I walked in anxious (have anxiety) and left with more anxiety than ever before to be quite honest. He’s difficult to understand and hear which is fine, but asked me a question about previous medications and I guess when I told him I repeated one of the medications by accident; instead of just passing it along, he responding by telling me you just keep repeating yourself are you listening do you not understand? It gets only worse. He later on said directly to me “are you ok, you’re off” direct quotation. I was not going to allow a NP to speak that way to me and responded with an attitude. Please seek a compassionate doctor.

Dr. Barabash spent essentially no time discussing what was actually going on. He barely spoke to me and focused entirely on his computer. He asked leading questions and made me feel as though I couldn't answer truthfully. Nice person, but not a good clinician. If you're just going to get a script that you already know you want, it's worth it. If you're concerned about yourself and feeling lost or in need of actual help, look somewhere else.

He wouldn't listen, didn't care how I was feeling and instead told me I was disturbed. He's a disgusting human being for doing that and should have his medical license ripped away!
