Roxane Holm, PMHNP

A family member with mental health problems has gone to Roxanne and has repeatedly told me about the anxiety that they have as a result of each visit with her. I went with my family member to an appointment as moral support, and everything that they told me was absolutely supported by my own experience. She was very cold and almost every question she asked seemed adversarial and like she was just trying to dig up more problems in my family member's life. She became upset when her conclusions were not agreed with and left in a huff at the end of the visit. Overall, I am very surprised that the clinic continues to employ someone who is so unprofessional and ill-mannered. I feel sorry for her as she seems to be a very unhappy person, but, at this point, I feel more sorry for anyone unfortunate enough to be her patient!

During my visits what stood out was lack of humanity, decent quality of Professionalism, apparently NP is nothing more than a person behind a computer screen, nothing authentic here. Lack of support, understanding, diagnosis. Most patients came out of this office upset, with a look of disappointment, and dry of empathy. I felt that this Clinic mine as well be a NP factory, as long as you play by there rules. I'm sorry Roxanne Holm's for wasting my time and yours. Best of luck to you sister with that attitude towards humanity, go elsewhere if you need psychiatrist support. Preferably a true M.D.

This is the 3rd review I am leaving. My guess is that only positive reviews are actually used, which the Viroqua public will be notified about via facebook and any other source I can find access to. Roxanne Holmes talks a good talk, but is nothing more than the typical Western Psychology's unavailable and dismissive psychiatric "professionals". I had a wonderful 1st appointment with her. She even apologized for the abuse I experienced within the system for 20 years. I was delighted. Then I called her office asking for advise on a phenomenon that was causing me extreme distress. I talked to her nurse, who I informed of my question and told him I was in emdr and working with a therapist to find treatment for complex PTSD. He said he would talk with her and get back to me. In the late afternoon I received a phone message saying that Roxanne told him to tell me to "find a therapist". Nor did she look in my chart which would have relieved I have 2 therapists. She was informed visit #!.
