Roxanne Upshaw

Roxanne Upshaw does not update you on appointments like most therapists. She also does not keep accurate record of appointments, resulting in missed appointments. She then bills you 7 months after her services are cancelled, without notification. I have never experienced such incompetence from a “trained” professional.

I strongly recommended Dr. Upshaw! I had seen Dr. Upshaw a few years ago when dealing with depression. She was very supportive and helped me work my way out of my very dark place. Incrementally, I felt better in dealing with things around me and the world in general. She will explore, identify and help you move forward opening up possibilities that may be (near) impossible to do on your own. She has an open-ended approach to helping based on your needs and disposition. She helped me using a wide range of tools and approaches which by itself was surprising, educating and effective.

There has never been a more supportive understanding therapist that we have worked with. She knows just how and when to talk about a subject and can read us from the moment we walk in the door. We always leave feeling relaxed and calmer and supported. How many doctors still talk to you after you move out of state to support you! If she does not have the answer she will find it and I can say moving and not having her as a support system was very hard. She is one of a kind.

I have a teen that visits Dr. Upshaw and she loves her. Very easy to talk to and very straight forward.
