A True Professional & Lifesaver
I've been working with Sally for some time now, and every session reinforces how fortunate I am to have found her. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space where I can process everything (and I mean everything) without feeling 'crazy.' Her ability to help me cut through the noise of daily life is invaluable. Sally is truly a national treasure, and I feel she should be protected at all costs. Highly recommend!

Before I started seeing Sally, I came up with a lot of reasons not to go to therapy. I had seen a therapist briefly in high school, but he didn't really help.I figured that I could just tough out some of my problems, and that everybody deals with stress. But I decided to try it out anyway. I was going try for a male therapist, but then I realized that I actually find it much easier to open up women without feeling judged. When I first started Sally for therapy, I felt way more comfortable than I ever thought possible. She was immediately warm, friendly, and totally non-judgmental. She actually helped me to learn how I was judging myself more harshly than anybody, and helped me develop strategies for challenges my own judgments and doubts about myself. With her help, I have been able to feel more confident about my role at work and in my personal relationships. I am surprised by how not only have I continued to explore new thoughts and areas of my life with Sally, but also how I now l

I can say without a doubt that Sally Sauter is the best therapist I have had and will ever have. I have never met anyone so understanding, so compassionate, and so accepting. The responses and advice you get from her are so genuine and individualized, it really makes me feel listened to important which means the world to me. But really, the best thing about Sally is that she is REAL. Her boisterous personality and her individuality is both inspiring and contagious. I am so so lucky to have found a therapist like Sally, I am forever grateful for her words and attribute a big portion of my recovery and my mental well being to her help both in and out of session.

Deciding to seek treatment for anxiety and depression and choosing Sally as my therapist has been the best decision I’ve made for my own growth and recovery. Sally has been a guiding light in my life since our first session and eliminates any fear of judgement or fear of vulnerability in clients new to therapy. She listens with an open mind and heart, and is genuine in expressing care and concern for her client’s well being. Each session with Sally feels sincere, and like a breath of fresh air — even through the hard stuff. I leave every session feeling hopeful for improvement, empowered and with peace of mind knowing I have someone to help me through my struggles. Sally is incredible at what she does and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking treatment.

I would recommend Sally to family and friends because she is a wonderful therapist and a very down to earth person. She is perfect at what she does because she not only listens, but she gives back her own input and her own opinion while giving helpful tips to solve the situation. Sometimes when she knows a situation can’t be solved she helps a patient learn coping mechanisms. She’s extremely personable and overall a good person.

Sally Sauter has taught me so much about how recovery is actually possible, and that life in general is worth something to stick around for. Her patience as she sits with me as I outline the contingent events of my past/present, is nothing more than a God-sent feature. Instead of avoiding the hard topics, she embraces them. She challenges me, along with my stubbornness, to keep going. She listens when I am sad, angry, and confused, while I desperately try to find some relief from the physical/emotional pain. She helps me face my fears-tackling a list of intangibles day after day. The list has evolved, but she still stays committed to the course with me, undertaking my anxiety and telling me to just do it. I don’t have the space here to recount everything she has done for me, but the most important thing she has taught me is that crying is not a sign of weakness, and that vulnerability is ok. I have been able to express my true self within the safe space she creates whenever we meet.

I can not say enough great things about Sally. She is not only an amazing therapist with her therapeutic listening and communication skills but she expertly analyzes your conversations to help you realize the true meanings behind your feelings and thoughts. She is knowledgeable in teaching you coping skills to use in everyday life and really cares about you and shows this by remembering your conversations without having to look through notes when your talking because she is actually listening to what you are saying. On top of all that she literally saved my life and I can not be more grateful to have her as my therapist. I recommend her to anyone who needs an unbiased opinion and a compassionate listening ear!

Sally Sauter's greatest gift as a therapist is her ability to feel for and empathize with her clients. Any time I speak to her, I feel as though I'm not alone-- like someone is feeling what I feel with me. She can see harmful habits and ways of thinking, nut more importantly, she can show you how to see these patterns yourself. The process can be hard, but she will help you through. She gives her all to her clients, taking extra time when necessary, devoting her energy to making sure that you are on the right path. She has a true talent for listening and the heart to help anyone who needs it.

Sally has helped me so much in my recovery from anorexia and in my current struggles with anxiety and depression stemming as a result of it. She has helped me recover my “old self” and remember who I am without my ED. I would highly recommend her and she has been someone I connect deeply with on these topics. She makes her clients feel validated. I have never had a feeling of guilt with her - an emotion I have had with other professionals specializing in eating disorders.

Sally Sauter is a phenomenal therapist and has helped me so much in the last few years that I have been seeing her. She truly cares for my mental health and for my happiness and I feel so safe and comfortable with her. I am able to tell her anything and everything on my mind and that is rare to find. She makes time for me whenever I need to see her and she checks in during the weeks where she knows I am going through a difficult time. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a therapist who truly cares and listens.

I love sally she has helped me so much. I really benefit from and appreciate the fact that’s she’s not surface level with me and we dig deep together. She’s professional and truly cares, funny, witty, brilliant and easy to talk to. She’s a wonderful human being and a great therapist. She’s always been available and able to fit me into her schedule. She helps keep me on track in our conversations because I could go off on 12 different tangents during our hour :). We go off together but she always brings me back. Her feedback is helpful and I look forward to our sessions together. I love the atmosphere of the whole office. I’ve been seeing her for about 3 years now and she’s an important part of my life.

Ms. Sauter is an outstanding therapist. She was able to provide a rich combination or emotional support and therapeutic intervention that allowed me to transition to a healthy and stable life. She goes over and above to provide the kind of support that often extends beyond the 50 minute hour. She makes herself available to meet your ongoing needs throughout the process. I highly recommend that, if you are in need and willing to make the investment in your mental health, that you consider Ms. Sauter to guide you through the process. She is outstanding!
