He needs to teach people especially families to get along with each other to ask more questions and focus on the positive within relationships. Resorting to medication before examining every other option is not what a psychologist is supposed to do. Love, forgiveness, and healthy communication is what psychologists are there to teach patients. Drugs just numb feelings and have sometimes very adverse side effects. My daughter used to run and paint and write music when she was stressed. Now she is angry and on medication. I wonder if he even thought to ask her how she managed her stress before? Oh and she used to talk to me and I used to tell her how amazing she was. Now all she has is pharmaceuticals , grades dropping if she is even attending school and no contact with her only family member. Thanks doc?? I hope you read this and change your practices & help your patients. At which time I will remove this post!

Dr. Roberts performed thorough testing, throughout several months, on my son to determine if he is ADHD. I wanted a reliable psychiatrist to evaluate him because of the quick diagnosis some docs give these days. He not only observed him for months during testing, after testing was completed he discussed in detail the tests and continued to counsel us as he started medication. Dr. Roberts is skilled, patient and is very experienced when discussing mental health.

Dr. Roberts is a wonderful doctor. My 7 yo twins have been seeing him to assess their needs for the upcoming school year. He is thorough, easy to understand , and most importantly my twins really like him. Dr. Roberts has given us ( the parents) a lot of good information, suggestions on accommodations that could help each child be more successful. I would highly suggest Dr. Roberts!

I would not recommend Dr. Roberts if you are thinking of taking your child to him. He believes that medicating kids with behavioral problems is a viable solution. My son has been acting out at school due to a very bitter divorce. Dr. Roberts said that my son has ADHD and ODD and recommended medication to control his behavior. If my son had these conditions, the behavior would be persistent. He would not be able to turn it off. But my son is very well behaved when he is with me. That says a lot
