Sandy Diep, FNP-BC

Sandy goes by the book and test result data alone. She cares for her patients but unable to show empathy. I am a complicated case but instead of easing me into the dialysis conversation she kept pushing me and making me fell like I am going to die within weeks. The fact that I survived 2 years from our first dialysis conversation is an example of why she needs to be more empathic and not just go by test results alone.

My husband and I are so thankful that Sandy Diep has come into our lives through her affiliation with UTSW. Our experience with Sandy, consistently, is that she is thoughtful, thorough, and always willing to walk us through lab results, our questions, and incorporate known medical history into her evaluations and recommendations. In our experience with her, Sandy has also consistently presented both positive and less-fun-to-hear medical information in a kind yet direct manner, and always with the full person and their medical history in mind throughout. To us, Sandy naturally combines the science and the art of being a well-balanced practitioner, and we would have no hesitations about recommending her to family, friends, or strangers now, or in the future. Thank you, Sandy, for your professional skills and how you choose to show up in the world for your patients and their families. You make a difference everyday!

Sandy was a great Practitioner. Getting a new diagnosis is not easy but Sandy had great bedside and explained everything in a clear and concise way. Unfortunately she is no longer at Parkland.

For the best Practitioner, DO NOT select Sandy Diep unless you enjoy being talked down too and your condition minimised. That is how she treated/acted/behaved around me. Of coarse she did not see our one and only visit from her patients point of view. She saw it as a change in her schedule that day that she didn't like when she saw me. I have since complained to her bosses. She calls me today with more disrespect.
