Sara Edwards, LPC

Sara makes every effort to be available and talk me through things i didn't even know were issues. She does the hard work of making everyone in our therapy group better people and I am more free to be communicative and emotional than I have ever been.

I cannot exaggerate how amazing Sara is! I started seeing her basically the week before everything got shut down for covid and she has been so wonderful about keeping up our sessions via Video chat. It means the world to me that she is so respectful of both my religion and lifestyle. I thought it would be impossible to find someone who didn’t shame me for one of the sides of me, but she has only affirmed me every time we meet. It’s a relief to not have to explain everything about my lifestyle. I can say “this happened” and she’s like “gotcha- you mean xyz” and she’s always spot on. She’s really good at asking questions in a way that comes across as simply asking - not placing judgement in what your answer is. But she is always stellar about being like “dude, good job! I’m happy for you! I’m proud of you” when I reach a milestone we have been working toward. Very very grateful to have found her for therapy!
