Sarah Filipic, LPCC

Encountered her in UH Cleveland IOP. She knew her stuff, was friendly. I felt she was effective in treating me. She was willing to correspond with my psychologist on a sensitive issue

Horrible customer service at University Hospitals Dept of Psychiatry. Referred to Sarah Filipic and UH site said she was accepting new patients. Son called and they told him she wasn't accepting new patients, sorry and hung up. I called back, sat on hold, person answered and then disconnected the call. Called back, sat on hold, said I wanted to make an appointment with her and was told she wasn't accepting new patients. Informed her that the website said she was. She then told me she started a new position in the IOP program and asked if he wanted to do that. I have no idea what that is so no not interested. I asked who Sarah Filipic was referring patients to and was told nobody really. I find it disturbing that a mental health medical professional would not be more planful of patients, so I'm not sure if it is her or the desk staff that is dropping the ball here. Either way it is a very poor reflection of Sarah Filipic.
