My neck had been in a lot of pain so I made an appointment on a Thursday. At the first appointment I was told this was an evaluation I would get an adjustment on the next time. On the second appointment the following Monday while still in a lot of pain, I was refused an adjustment unless I prepaid my future visits. I could prepay all visits for the year, or I could be set up on a monthly plan to spread out the costs. Never heard of a doctor refusing a patient in pain
