The check in process was easy and everyone was friendly. Nurse Trusner reviewed and discussed my entire health history and my familial history to understand the care I need. It was the most thorough appointment I ever had. She's kind, she listened, she's easy to talk to, and made the overall visit very pleasant. She addressed each of my issues and created a plan of treatment for me. I truly appreciate the service I received from Nurse Trusner.

I am the person from the November 12 review. In this appointment with her, she said that no doctors do sterilizations before 30 at Carle. When she finally agreed to give me an appointment for a consult (after I told her to add it in my visit notes that she denied me a consult), she booked me with a doctor she said would give me an IUD (despite me telling her that I had already had a consult for an IUD and it was determined that my anatomy was not right for it.) The update is that she was wrong. I made an appointment (at Carle, by myself) with a surgeon a few months later and she booked me for sterilization immediately, without any questions! It's hard to tell whether Trusner is actually ignorant of the department she works in or is just forcing her beliefs on patients (more likely, given her attitude) but it is a shame she is still employed after how she treats patients.
