Scott McCloud, LCSW

Scott McCloud was extremely dismissive and rude. He seemingly went out of his way to make me feel unwelcome. I'm not sure if he was angry that I was a new patient and maybe I was scheduled by mistake, or if it had something to do with my insurance or what - but I left his office in tears and had a panic attack in the parking lot due to how much anxiety the whole interaction gave me. I've never had a therapist refuse to look at me or just sit in silence staring at their laptop. When I expressed that I felt very awkward, unwelcome and even preemptively apologized if I was scheduled by mistake, he stated "this is how we do things and if you are disturbed by that, you can leave". I honestly had no idea what he was talking about and the whole thing was bazaar. I can't believe a therapist would treat any patient like this.
