Doctor Peneiras is thorough, friendly and professional. He explains everything in detail and is just down to earth. Front desk girls are also very friendly and helpful and speak portuguese which is a PLUS!I highly recommend Dr. Peneiras

There was a bit of delay in taking me in BUT the Doctor spent a lot of time on me and did everything to find the most accurate prescription for my eyes. This of course was the most important thing for me. He is pleasant and clearly he cares. Staff was also so smart and helpful. I really liked the office as well - very well lit and open, not that I really care about that.

Very thorough, staff is great .
When Dr Paneiras started practicing out of the Long Branch office, I followed him to Long Branch. My husband still uses his Manalapan office and is also very happy with his care.

Excellent optometrist 100% patient focused. Staff attentive and pleaseant. Wide choice of frames. Very pleased with care, maintain a tight schedule for appointments so you are not waiting, and timely delivery of frames. Over all excellent experience and would highly recommend. I had pain in my right eye when I visited the doctor. He treated the eye and I have been pain free ever since. The staff is the best! I recommend that if you have any problems with your eyes, see this Doctor!

He was rude to my child. We waited over 2hrs to be seen just for him to get upset my child wasn’t “focusing” on what he wanted him to. We had just come from school and no 5yr old wants to wait two hours to get their eyes checked. What I recommended get some real insurance people and go to a real doctor.

What a wonderful pleasant atmosphere, The whole staff made me feel very comfortable, as well as being very efficient. I was greeted immediately without having to wait, and handed a beautiful flower!! What a cheerful office, I was amazed by the Doctors personal assistant, What a Gem, she treated me like family, catered to my every need, Stellar in every Way, Wow!! Thank You!! Dr. Peneriras was outstanding, I highly recommend him, and his staff, Will be back next year. Very Pleased. MG
