Dr. Seth Salley, OD

I have superior oblique palsy and finding a doctor who knows how to deal with this is difficult. I searched the web and found this guy. His website states that he knows his stuff concerning my particular issue. Even though I live 4.5 hours away, I scheduled an appointment. After the exam, his best advice (diagnosis?) was to find someone closer. Well....if only I could. He did give me a prescription for glasses, which wasn't any good. I took the prescription to a local eye place, and after about 2.5-3 weeks of trying to see through them, I took them back. I invested time, money (500 bucks for the exam, plus food, lodging, gas, etc) and effort on this visit, and all for nothing. Zip. Zero. Well, I did eat some good Memphis food, so technically, it wasn't a complete waste. sigh

I have not seen Dr. Salley at this time. Have trouble hearing and understanding on phone. Need another way to make an appointment.

I returned to Clearview to discuss my soft lenses and am now fitted with the most comfortable and functional multi level vision contacts I have ever worn. I also have new multilevel back up eye glasses. Dr. Salley was very knowledgeable and most helpful in finding an eyecare solution that fit me and only me. He and the staff are extraordinary and make each visit very special. Thanks y’all for helping a senior citizen have perfect, clear vision with correction.

Great place to keeping coming to for service. Dr. Salley and his staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I went in for the impossible and got perfect results. Dr. Salley is the best optometrist I have met. He is personable, very knowledgeable and keep you up to date on what his method of treatment is now and in the future. The staff is always amazing and the office is clean and welcoming. I am so glad I met Dr. Salley and will tell as many people as I can about his amazing service.

Excellent optometrist! His staff is knowledgeable, helpful and patient. My family of 4 have all seen Dr. Salley and we are very pleased. He is great with children too. He fixed my dry eye problem without medication. He recommended an amazing eye makeup remover and eye wash that works well and doesn’t dry my eye lids. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Sally is the best eye doctor I have ever visited and an incredibly genuine, aware person. Clearview Family Eyecare accepted my Humana insurance where my old eye doctors office did not. I highly recommend Dr. Salley's practice. The office was clean, professional and conveniently located in East Memphis one block south of Poplar Ave. The office staff was courteous and helpful. I found Dr. Salley's approach to eye care honest, clear and thorough. Unpretentious and down to earth, I found him to be responsive to my personal eye needs without pushing his own agenda. I was so satisfied, that I scheduled an appointment for my daughter as well.

Dr. Salley is great. The one thing you can always count on with Dr. Salley is he's going make sure he spends time with you to make sure all your questions are answered. He's the best I've ever seen when it comes to caring for his patients and he made me feel like I was the only person in his office. In a time where it can be hard to find good doctors that care, Dr. Salley's attitude and professionalism is a shining light in the business. I highly recommend. Sonam is amazing, too.

I recently saw Dr. Salley for an eye exam for glasses and contacts. He was very professional and helpful as well as very friendly and easy to talk to. He spent a significant time with me to answer my questions and make sure I got everything I needed. I will definitely be using him from now on for all my eye care.

Dr. Salley is the best doctor of any kind I have ever had. He is incredibly professional, but also incredibly friendly. He gave me the most honest feedback I have ever received. He took time to explain to me what was going on with my eyes and gave me multiple options for best treatments. I have already recommended him to all of my friends and coworkers. Normally I have had doctors who are standoffish and vague, Dr. Salley is the opposite. You can tell he truly is passionate about service!
