All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Not Good at Diagnosing Level 1 Autism
This doctor has told me and at least one other parent I know of that our kids don't have autism because they 'make eye contact' or 'engage.' We had to wait two more years when a different practitioner picked up on level 1 autism almost immediately, on their own. This was valuable time wasted not receiving services and going through a lot of hardship due to an inaccurate diagnosis. Note to this doctor - Kids with autism can make eye contact and interact with you. It is a spectrum.
