Dr. Sharon Lash, PSY.D

Ive seen her 2 times, last time she was over 30 minutes late, not very nurturing in a way you would think a therapist should be. I had to explain MULTIPLE times, that I have no idea about the identity of my father, for her to ask ' is your father alive?'. She comes across rude, and argumentative if you don't have a timeline for the questions she asks. I'm sorry, I don't remember all my life events from birth.

I saw Dr. Lash weekly for six months. I’ve never experienced a therapist who talked so much about her other patients to me. She never named anyone, however half of each appointment was spent with her telling stories about other people she had treated.Every single week she asked about my husband. At the time I was living with my boyfriend and I had to explain multiple times every appointment that we were not married.She frequently made me feel inadequate and uncomfortable sharing anything. I don’t feel there was any progress in the six months I saw her. She frequently was digging through a messy stack of papers on her desk because everything was so disorganized. Every appointment was 30 minutes behind. It was bad enough that staff tells you if your appointment is at 5, to show up at 5:30.She made a joke about something I said sounding “a little schizophrenic”. It was not meant in a clinical way, that was the final straw for me to call and cancel all future appointments.
