I had joint custody of my two children but was not satisfied with the amount of visitation that my estranged wife afforded me, so I filed a motion for court ordered visitation. At first the judge granted it to me, alternate weekends and a weekday evening, then unbelievably reversed herself and ordered me, my estranged wife and children to evaluation sessions with Sharon Montgomery. I went there thinking that this person, trained in psychology and issues related to parents and their children, would see through the malicious mother syndrome that I was being subject to and make it right. Instead she turned out to be more cold and uncaring than any person I can think of. She had no interest in evidence, gave no credence to logic and actually told me that my family was happier without me and that their affection was animated. She took months to issue a report, and when she did it was sealed by the Court. Stay away from, she is cruel and incompetent.

I'm a healthcare professional and did not see that she had any data to support her positions. Furthermore, her computer system is not safe. She was hacked on October 23, 2021. Emails were sent from her account to a number of contacts.

It is difficult to read these comments knowing I witnessed so much of the same. Dr. Montgomery is quick to snap back when she feels as if you (most often a woman) is disagreeing with her assessment of something and providing evidence for why you disagree. Eventually, she clearly and overtly stated that the THREE police reports filed against my husband's ex-wife for domestic violence and harassment were "open to interpretation." After that comment, I had no faith whatsoever and knew that everything I had read and heard, and heard from attorneys in the field, were correct. Dr. Montgomery will continue to be appointment indiscriminately by judges unless something egregious happens. And unfortunately I think Dr. Montgomery is "too smart" to let that happen.

As a psychologist, whom she interviewed with regard to a case I was involved in, I thought she was competent and fair. The case turned out well for my client, who was a strong career woman. I was surprised to see these ratings and comments online, when I looked her up just now so that I could refer a client to her.

Ms Montgomery is raking in the big bucks at your emotional expense. I agree with other post , the pushy abusive man that acts like Mr. Mom becomes her favorite . She does not respond well to strong career women (she has to be the know it all lady at all times) She advised me to "let my son go " as my ex was relentless in his pursuit. Fast forward my son is a now grown man and he has a nice stable relationship with me and NONE with his Father. My ex husband refused to take the personality tests and left it blank and walked out of the room and handed in a blank test. She graded mine and gave results to court and said husband did not complete !!! Are you kidding me. Read the reviews carefully and beware she will take your money and have no shame to steal your dignity too.

I can't believe the court can impose somebody like her on anyone. Dr. Sharon Ryan Montgomery does not take insurance, its a Cash only, and money upfront. She writes down all the drama, with no evidence, it's a he said she said. Totally disregarded what my son had to say. Everything she wrote had nothing to do with why we were sent to her in the first place. And also told me, that if I don't pay the remaining balance it will reflect on her report. They also force you to write an agreement of a cr
