Sharon Stager, RN

My experience with Sharon Stager is that she has been a wonderful primary care physician. Although she is only available in the Wellcare office on Monday, I have always found this convenient since many physicians are not typically in their office on Mondays. She is the only PCP I have ever had who works many Monday holidays. Moreover, she provides her patients with her mobile phone number for urgent matters that cannot wait for Monday. She has personally called me to discuss medication changes, and more recently to check on me during the Covid-19 pandemic. Her bedside manner is fantastic. She always takes the time to sit with me while we discuss my case. She listens with patience, empathy, and kindness. She answers all my questions and has never seemed rushed. Her examinations are thorough and gentle.

Hard to reach her for lab follow up. Actually only comes in office once a week. Low professorial rank.

Dr. Stager is great but I'm having an awful time getting referrals for my specialists. That's the job of the people at the desk of course. Dr. Stager only works Mondays
