Shelby Meyer, ARNP

I saw Shelby at MercyOne in Tama. She likely was filling in. She’s not a regular provider at this location. She has poor bedside manner. She was impersonal, lacks empathy, & unorganized responses. She did not face me while asking questions. She was more focused inputing information into the computer then her patient. Shelby gave medical terminology responses and responses were unorganized. She jumped from one topic to another. She suggested additional testing; then told me to take over the counter meds. She didn’t listen. I had told her the over the counter meds I was taking. It makes no sense to want additional testing & suggest over the counter meds for treatment. Testing should be completed before treatment recommendations. Don’t go to Shelby for medical treatment or waste your money. This clinic does have other good providers.
