Sherilyn Toppenberg, FNP

I can not find the process at LL Health to to explain the issue. Toppenburg would not renew routine medications I had been on for 10 years, and went through my list of medications and removed some and canceled others that were on my list from other doctors without consulting me or the other prescribers. I felt disrespected and as if I had done something wrong. I brought it to her attention via e-mail -- no response. She was blase in any appointment I had, barley looked at me, and ususally acted like she had one foot out the door.

Would of appreciated just a bit more time....some important things I didn't mention mostly because I felt rushed... should of simplified my notes in my phone? Thankfully I do have my solid personable, listens well, Primary doctor in San Clemente CA. (where I'm from) & very happy with. Have usually gone to female doctors & N.P.'s only. If I have to go to a doc I want warm caring knowledgeable in Nutrition/Preventative Medicine (more Eastern European basically). And someone that isn't just running their "bit". Dr. at coast knows I come in busy crazy, Bp is going to be on the moon, so he takes it again near the end of the visit after I've "come down off the wall" haha. Ms. Toppenberg hit most of the pertinent steps, pointed me in the right direction and that's what's most important, so I'm overall pleased. Plus, Loma Linda University team is fabulous & professional. So you really can't go wrong with them & their here too in Beaumont serving our area here : )

I have been going to Sherilyn for about four years and was a little anxious about seeing a FNP instead of a doctor, but now I know how knowledgeable she is, She explains things so I understand and answer questions in a way I can understand%. I have complete confidence in Sherilyn. I would recommend her to anyone.

I would HIGHLY recommend Ms. Toppenberg!!! She is very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. She explains everything completely AND in laymen’s terms!! She takes the time to listen, and answers all of your questions. Her staff is wonderful too!!
