Sherri Whitcomb, PA-C

I saw Dr. Lorton, who owns the practice, for quite a few years, then switched to Sherri, simply because the wait to see Dr. Lorton can be long. I feel Sherri is quite competent. She has always taken the time to answer any questions that I have had. The practice is run efficiently and is very well-regarded in the Toledo area.

Barely spent 5 minutes in the room with me both visits I had with her. She glanced at my skin and prescribed topical medications for my acne. When I came back months later for a follow up appointment, she told me to keep up my topical meds even though they weren’t doing anything. She didn’t seem to listen to my concerns and didn’t seem to care either. Could greatly improve on her bedside manner. I definitely did not go back to her and don’t recommend anyone go to her.

Terrible. Literally spent 2 minutes with me and did not even examine my skin. Downplayed my symptoms and didn’t listen to what I had to say. Never again.

I agree she needs to slow down & work on her "bedside manner". Spent less than 2 minutes with me. Diagnosed me before I even spoke (which was hard to do because she talked over me). I walked out & was like "what just happened?". I felt like a child being told rather than an adult patient. I am very busy & finally took time to go to the dr. I did not appreciate the way I was scooted out & told this cream probably won't work but come see me again in 30 days. Yeah right! I'll go elsewhere.

Rushed in and talked AT me loudly and obnoxiously. Then she kept laughing really awkwardly after she spoke. Truly one of the weirdest experiences I ever had. I don't know if she needs less coffee or what, but she acted really bizarre and i will never go to her again.

Very nice, very kind, very knowledgeable. Wish she would slow down a little, felt rushed in and rushed out
