She got nasty, when counseling my wife who has dementia because she had been contacted on calls, both prior, and after our scheduled visit. Originally, after the call we waited for 45 minutes for, she explained that emergency calls take precedence, which I repeatedly conceded we understood. She seemed frazzled and the next appointment with her went South quickly. For years I have spoken for my wife, since she repeatedly simply said that she was fine. Lucero had no problem with this. I finally told her what a toll this was taking on me and she snippily notated that the visit was only for my wife and not for me. No empathy. No acknowledgement of how much I helped Lucero do HER job. She has no respect or empathy for caregivers. She does not offer a wholistic approach. We told her we were stopping services with her and she didn't even prescribe my wife's needed medicines. She has a major attitude problem, when challenged, and produced no progress for my wife in two years time.

Sherrie Lucero takes the time to get to know her patients. She goes the extra mile every time to ensure you and your family are comfortable with the treatment and plan. She listens and gives additional explanation if you don't completely understand the diagnosis or treatment options. Just incredibly caring and so profoundly knowlegable a true professional.

This is the most unprofessional person I have ever seen. She didn’t even know me and she was accusing me of abusing my daughter. To medicate a child both parent have to be agree this person told me that she was going to medicate my daughter because she was not focused and was going to send her to a mental hospital because she had broken a phone that didn’t work. She also told me that It didn’t matter that I wasn’t agree she was going to do it. Please if you are taking your kids to her office be very careful. They want to medicate a kid because they don’t move, because they move too much, because they are talkative or because they are quite. Our kids are our treasure please stop poisoning them. Those pills have a bad side effects. This person has no idea what my daughter has been through. If you are a professional then you have to go to the root of the problem to find a solution not tell me that you are going to medicate my daughter without my permission.
