Dr. Efanov has helped me manage my anxiety and relationship difficulties. She has been supportive but also challenged me when I needed it, and gave me tools to use outside of session.

I strongly recommend Dr. Efanov for people committed to doing real work in therapy. She has an incredible wealth of knowledge, she is compassionate, and gave me tangible tools to work with. She also did not shy away from difficult topics. Therapy was hard, but I gained so much from my work with Dr. Efanov. I was new to the area, and I had two previous counselors before her, who did help me learn coping skills and fixes in the here and now. Dr Efanov worked with me on pealing deeper layers of my past, and she help me learn to trust myself, to set good boundaries, and to live my best life with acceptance and self-compassion.

I have seen Dr. Efanov for a Neuro evaluation after a concussion. She was patient, asked really thorough questions and did the testing herself. It was evident she is experienced and this is one of areas of expertise! She explained the results in a way that was relatable and applicable. I continue to benefit from the recommendations she gave. She applies the results to real life examples, and concrete ways to work on things. She cares about her patients and it shows. I would recommend her without a doubt.

I have been on Efanov's waiting list since December 2018 (it's now coming up on Nov 2019) because she does some of the specific therapies I apparently need (and she takes my insurance). I've called to find out where I am on the list, and I was assured that I was on it. At one point, I was number 3. Over the summer, the office called to offer me group therapy. I was pretty angry about that--I had asked specifically for individual therapy and was trying to be patient with their insanely long wait times. Apparently, I was dropped from the list but not told. I called back last month to find out where I was on the list, and that's when they told me I'd been dropped and they'd put me back on, but of course, I'd lost my place. The front desk people are not helpful at all, and a year-long waiting list is INSANE. Either connect patients to another therapist who does similar treatment or TURN THEM AWAY. It is ludicrous that you're making people who probably have serious mental issues be strung a
