Sindi is AMAZINGLY empathetic. In the past, I paid her a small hourly fee once a week for months and each time I met with her -- though the appointment was for an hour -- she would talk to me for up to three hours. I wouldn't say she would do this for everyone. But, I was in a particularly horrible circumstance (home invasion, serial killer killed my brother). Compared to others formerly in this office (L. West), she is SO supportive and concerned. I'd recommend her to anyone!

My child saw Sindi on two occasions. Not only did she arrive significantly late to the appointments, she also used the time to talk about her trips, her life, and her other personal issues. She is inappropriate and not someone I would ever return to. Cannot recommend Sindi Wasserman as a MFT.

Sindi Wasserman was investigated by the Board of Behavioral Sciences and is currently being charged by the Attorney General for seeing my young children, knowingly, without my knowledge or permission. As an MFT for 28 years, she violated her code of ethics and broke numerous laws. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for a competent MFT.

I would recommend this therapist to others, particularly those with young children or adolescents. She is understanding, thorough, knowledgeable and competent. She offers practical suggestions to every day problems and issues. She is also bilingual (Spanish/English).

I wish I could give Sindi zero stars. I only saw her once. She was inappropriate: used our session to tell me, in great detail, about HER personal troubles. She laid a heavy guilt trip on me: I actually lose money by coming here to work, but I do it because helping people is so important to me. She uncovered areas where I was very sensitive, and *berated* me on them. I had my first ever panic attack upon leaving her offices. Find another provider!

I am from another culture. I found Ms. Wasserman to be very sensitive to the usual cultural barriers that keep me from being able to relate to a provider. I felt comfortable and have improved my outlook because of this provider's knowledge, compassion, and expertise.
