Dr. Stella Tu, OD

On Feb. 6, 2025 visit, Dr. Tu re-examed my eyes and found some small changes in the prescription compared to the one from Jan 14, 2025 with which new lenses were made. Also, the doctor informed me that the measurements from Dr. Tu 2 exams were very similar to the prescription of the glasses I already have. The pair was made by Pomona Valley Optometry, Inc. on Oct. 20, 2022. I was surprised that my eyes have not changed over nearly two and a half years!Dr. Tu however, ordered the lenses to be re-made for me. I just wish the doctor had told me on Jan 14, 2025, that I would not need to make new glasses because they would not improve my vision. Then I wouldn't have spent nearly $300.00 with nothing gain in my vision improvement!

Excellent people skills and clarity of communication.

Everyone in the office was professional and courteous, however when I started looking at glasses, the vendor was initially rude and condescending. Her attitude changed when I decided to buy a pair of glasses. With such a professional staff, she is a distraction from the business.

Dr. Tu is fantastic. I appreciate that she is caring and accurate in helping with my eye care.However, as I left my appointment, expecting to get a future appointment, I was told by a male employee that they would make an appointment for me and let me know. I have yet to hear from anyone about a follow up appointment. Was it because it was lunch time, and he just didn't want to take the time to schedule me right then?

Thorough. Highly interactive. Professional. Compassionate and cognizance of the anxiety inherent in the surgery. She explained the procedure and expectations going forward. She acknowledged the challenges of a high patient work load. The surgical team was Also top tier, creating a positive interaction throughout the prep, actual surgery and post op.

My visit was awesome the doctor treated my with respect and she was so gentle and answer to all my questions I’m so satisfied I really recommend her to anyone. Thank you Doctor Estela

Excellent facilities, close to home, Dr. Tu was very informative and gave me complete tests.

Dr. Tu was extremely thorough and did a comprehensive eye exam. She did a great job explaining in detail my eye health issues. I was very happy with her. She is also kind to patients and makes sure we didn’t wait a long time.

After initial exam there was short wait for Dr Tu. She was pleasant, courteous, professional and willing to answer all my questions. She made suggestions on how to proceed in my eye health. Told me what next appointment would be and when.

told me I was hyper fixating when I asked her why my eye was still irritated, even though she told me the cornea was healed. Lack of empathy when you tell a patient that their diiscomfort is not real.

Dr. Tu reviewed my eye exam results thoroughly and said I’m in the low risk of glaucoma.
